Dr Abhishek Kulkarni is one of India’s leading pediatric & adolescent endocrinologists with distinguished clinical academic and research expertise spanning nearly two decades.

He is credited with establishment of centres of excellence for treatment of pediatric & adolescent endocrine disorders at major hospitals in Mumbai and has pioneered diagnosis and treatment of many rare pediatric endocrine disorders, some of which like treatment of congenital leptin deficiency, treatment of MCT8 deficiency & use of advanced hybrid closed loop technology for treatment of type 1 diabetes mellitus have been the first of their kind in India.

He has numerous publications in journals of national & international repute and has been invited as key note speaker at more than 150 scientific fora. He has been conferred the adjunct title of Honorary Associate Professor of Pediatric & Adolescent Endocrinology by AHERF, India as recognition of his clinical, academic & research contribution to the field of pediatric & adolescent endocrinology.
